Much like the similar documentary regarding the Tim Burton Superman film, this is one of those documentaries about something joked about so much in comic book movie history that, after watching, you really wonder how good it could have been had it been actually planned for release.
Everyone involved seemed so committed to giving their best, and wanted to deliver a real movie. Had the budget been a tad more generous, the effects done right, and it given a chance, this could have been an interesting result.
